My state, Pennsylvania, does not promote canvas bags. I always liked the idea. While in Maine this summer I bought two from Hannaford store. I sure do get a lot of comments...especially from those that have traveled to that state.
We do the canvas bag thing too - also green. But mostly the landscape is littered with plastic bags ... plastered to fences, caught in trees, clogging up drains and so on ...
But mainly I wanted to say I read your other blog and you REALLY should carry on writing it as well as doing the 365 thing. I love the whole domestic goddess theme .... and fridge poetry .... and how did you do in NaNo? Do you have a nano-link for me? I'm also an ex-Nano 365er ....

we use canvas bags, but we're basically the only ones in the area who do so. Nothing really promotes them, and mijer just stopped giving you 5 cents off for every bag you bring...sooo....Michigan-not so environmental.
